The information we hold

If you submit a review through the form on this site, we hold what you typed: a display name, an email address, an optional location, a rating and the text of your review. That is the only information you actively give us. We ask for the email address so we can check a detail if something in a submission is unclear, and it is never published beside your review and never shared or sold.

Server logs

Like any website, ours sits on a server that keeps standard access logs: IP address, browser type, the page requested and a timestamp. Those logs exist for security and troubleshooting and are discarded on a rolling basis. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no cross site tracking scripts. One piece of browser storage is used: if you close the price bar at the bottom of the screen, that choice is remembered for the rest of your browsing session so the bar does not reappear on every page. It is cleared when you close the browser and it contains nothing about you.

Links to other sites

Buying links send you to a manufacturer's own website, which has its own privacy policy and its own tracking. Once you leave this site, what happens there is governed by their policy, not ours. Affiliate networks may record that the click originated here so the commission is attributed correctly; that record identifies the referring site, not you personally.

Children

This site is written for adults and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

Write to [email protected] if you want a submitted review or the email address attached to it deleted, and we will remove it. You do not need to explain why. If you are in a jurisdiction with statutory data rights, the same address is where you exercise them.

Changes
